
James Kolditz (he/him) is a New York based lighting and projection designer originally from Austin, Texas. James primarily designs for live theatre and dance but also frequently busks live concerts at venues such as Le Poisson Rouge in the West Village and Sony Hall in midtown. In 2018 he was awarded a Jeff award for best lighting design for his work on Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at Theo Ubique Cabaret in 2018. Favorite productions include Sons of the Prophet, Grey Gardens, Young Frankenstein, and The Bridges of Madison County.
James also frequently designs posters for various clients and enjoys writing plays in his free time. He also works as a lighting and video tech for numerous off-broadway and regional productions.
